Refund, Return and Exchange Policy
We have a 30-day free return policy, which means you have 30 days after the original purchase date for the item to request a return and receive a refund of the purchase price of the item in its original form of payment, excluding any shipping and handling costs that may have been charged to you.
Holiday Season Extension:
For purchases made between November 27, 2025, and December 25, 2025, our standard 30-day return and refund period is extended. Customers may request a return or refund for these items until January 31, 2026. All other return conditions, including eligibility and exclusions, remain the same.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase and the reason for your return.
How to Initiate a Return

- If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Return Shipping Costs
- We offer Free 30-day returns for eligible items (that include defective or incorrect item).
Damages and issues
- Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items / third party Orders

We accept returns for items purchased on the Treesandhugs.com website with our return policy and conditions. If your Trees and Hugs item was purchased from a third-party retailer, please contact them directly for a return or exchange. We do not accept returns for the items not purchased on Treesandhugs.com. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
- The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Cancel/Change of orders
- If you need to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team within 30 minutes of placing your order at hello@treesandhugs.com.
- Changes can only be made during business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST.
- We cannot process cancellations on weekends (Saturday or Sunday).
- If you miss the cancellation window, you may initiate a return once your order arrives.
- Order cancellations are not guaranteed. Trees & Hugs reserves the right to deny cancellation requests from customers with excessive cancellation activity.
Refunds
- We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days after approval. If your order included any additional shipping or handling charges, that amount will not be refunded. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Any such changes will become effective immediately upon posting. Additionally, we reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse any returns or exchanges, including, but not limited to, those that would otherwise violate our Terms of Service, for any reason, or for no reason at all.
